UPDATE: I'm 45 and a half and I bought myself all of those things and also got the mammogram too.

Yep tomorrow is my birthday. 44.

I would like a toaster and cds of the "Starseeds" and or William Orbit aka Strange Cargo.

I already have the original or first "Strange Cargo" cd, so not that one.

I like the song "Starman" by the Starseeds, and also one called "Be Open" - so whatever cd either of those are on... or another one... whatever. I suspect the Starseeds are hard to get - import etc.

The reason I want a toaster - not a toaster oven (already got that - you know why) - just a toaster like for slices of bread and or bagels - is that my toaster, which I bought new not that many years ago - well it won't stay down. Yeah I have the slider all the way to blackened cajun special but it pops up instantly. I have to hold it down, or repeatedly push it down and stupidly watch it pop back up, and then insanely do the same thing again, hoping that this time miraculously it will stay down for awhile longer. Then do it again.

The best thing about this toaster is that the bread never burns.

One year I very seriously asked a friend to take me to get a mammogram for my birthday. I've still never had one and I was supposed to at age 40. But she laughed and admonished me and said that free mammograms were for people who couldn't put food on the table or something like that. People really do not understand what it is like in this country if you don't have a job that supplies you with healthcare. They think there's no one who falls thru the cracks. But I do.

So this one is in my court... yeah. I got a "prescription" the other day so that I can get one but... called around and so far found out I should wait for October, that is when they give free ones. What do you think, should I wait for October?

Toaster. Nothing fancy. Just a toaster. Starseeds. Probably lots of places on the internet to get that.
