  • Built company from startup through hosting www/email for a few hundred small business domains and a few thousand email users. Acquired new customers including an Inc Magazine number one fastest growing company (American Biophysics Corporation, over 25,000% growth in 5 years.)
  • Worked with a wide range of business clients architecting database connected websites. Hired, supervised and mentored subcontractors in all fields of website design and enhancement.
  • Shared sysadmin duties over dns|www|smtp|pop3|IMAP|webmail servers,  postgresql, Cold Fusion, IIS, Apache, Zope, dbmail, sendmail, postfix, imail, maxmail, procmail, getmail, fetchmail, milters.
  • Designed internal-use automation systems in support of hosting administration and tools for customers.
  • Conceived and implemented current MX gateway, anti-spam|anti-virus, mailstore, per-user quarantine, per-user whitelist, and dedicated outbound setup.
  1977–1994 Early background Central Kansas and Rhode Island 
  • Published in numerous computer and techno-entrepreneur magazines starting at age 15.
  • As a teenager: worked on a Compugraphic 7500 typesetter for print shop, started mail order business selling PMC80 clones and Epson printers. Later worked in sales at Topeka Computer, then as electrician and lighting technician for touring rock bands throughout US and Canada.
  • Freelance: created numerous custom database applications for social service organizations in Rhode Island including complete double entry bookkeeping system with all journals and payroll, course/teacher/student training database still in use today, and demographic tracking databases for government reporting.
  • Recipient of IEEE award for Terrestrial Systems and Technology (Photovoltaic Specialists Conference, 1991, Las Vegas NV) for work including a computer based photovoltaic charging system simulator that balanced the cost vs performance trade-offs of copper vs silicon over the power production curve.
  • Built over 1000 computers for small business and setup / maintained small business networks.
  • Created and taught HTML skills to hosting customer in-house staff. Created and taught Computer Competence course to business and home user students.
  • Successfully prosecuted pro se patent for a photovoltaic charge controller and passed the technology to the public domain after issuance.
Education
  Studied high-level programming and the application of computer technology informally, self-taught since age 15. (27 years)
Interests
  Uncovering long-term reliable methods of spam vs ham sender differentiation. Increasing employee productivity at corporations who follow our anti-spam recommendations.
