Setting aside the blogging/journalling features, Blogware is quite a nice CMS (Content Management System) for websites. CMS usually cost thousands, so getting one basically free along with $8.95 / month hosting and the potential for far better search engine rankings is in our opinion, best bargain of the hosting world.
But there are several ways in which Blogware tends to restrict the site toward looking "like a blog" instead of a traditional website.
Herein we describe how to turn off those journalling marks of posting tima and author as requested by a few customers who just wanted to use Blogware as their non-blog website.
In the Blogware administrator, click Layout, then Templates. (If you don't have an option for Templates, your Blogware reseller may have turned it off. We turn it on for everyone, even free trial accounts.)
Look to the left and verify that you are at the top Main Page level. Now on the right, click EDIT next to the template named "Category."
(for the rest of the steps, request access to the secure portion of this website which is for our Blogware customers. Free trials of Blogware are available here.)
